Childcare

Kidz@missioDei is a children’s ministry where young children can learn about God, learn to love others and build foundations for faith. Alongside our 5pm service on Sundays, we currently have a Sunday school program for toddlers and young children. Parents, please bring your children to the second floor childcare room before the service begins and pick up your children at the end of service.

Keeping Kids Safe:
It is our hope and purpose to provide a safe environment for children where they can learn, discover and grow in their knowledge and love for God. While we live in a trust-compromised society we are taking appropriate measures to ensure the safety of our kids. We desire church to be a place where children look forward to going as well as a place where they can grow to know Christ.

Safety is a top priority for our children. If you have any questions at all, please don’t hesitate to contact our childcare coordinator (see below).

Childcare Coordinator: Suzie Kim

Suzie is a second year student at Western Washington University. She is majoring in Special Education with an Elementary education Dual Endorsement, studying to be an elementary school teacher. She has a great passion for working with children, currently working as a counselor for the YMCA’s Before and After School Enrichment Program, where she and other counselors watch up to thirty children. This program allows the children to interact with group games, homework assistance, and many other activities. This job has let her go to many different elementary schools in Bellingham, having her grow a stronger bond with the children in the Bellingham community. Throughout all of her childhood experience she has worked with infants all the way to seniors in high school. Suzie has eight years of child experience and continuing. All children are special and important, and deserve to feel that way.
